Readers like to ask authors questions. Authors like to answer them. But often it’s not easy. A quick to and fro on Twitter (no I won’t call it X). Or that brief session at the end of a festival event where you’re praying someone won’t stand up and say, ‘More a statement than a question’.

So here’s the idea. You think of five questions you’d like to ask me. Each month I pick one of you to ask them in person, online, on a video chat between the two us.
