New website, new newsletter

Yes, it looks different round here. I’ve switched over to Squarespace. There are still some tweaks going on but I hope everything is pretty clear here and it’s easy to find what you want. But some changes… and a plea for help.

Quite deliberately I haven’t moved over the hundreds of blog posts going back a decade or more from the previous site. Time to start afresh. If you need something from the old site you can find it frozen in time at this address Blog – David Hewson (wpcomstaging.com).

There are some innovations in the works too. The first is the return of a regular monthly newsletter with details of forthcoming books, events and some added extras. I hope these prove useful and interesting and I guarantee they won’t be the ‘buy my book the dog needs an operation’ kind. But I need to know they’re worthwhile. To that end I’d be grateful if as many as you as possible sign up for the first which will go out next week with the first of some special Venice goodies alongside. Plus there’ll be news of another quite exciting innovation in the works. Details to come in the newsletter and here when it goes out.

All feedback welcome either through the contact form, on Twitter or Threads. If you subscribed through my former site your details should be here already. If not, please consider subscribing through the form below.

You won’t be nagged, or shared, and it’s easy enough to unsubscribe.
